SortIT Solutions was founded by Niall O’ Flaherty who still maintains the day-to-day running of the company. Niall is the first point of contact within SortIT Solutions.

Niall has had an interest in IT for as long as he can remember. From a young age, he was engrossed by fast moving and ever changing computer technology as he built and repaired PC’s for friends and family. Keeping abreast of, and moving with this technology quickly grew into an obsession. In his teenage years he became involved in various LAN groups and GalwayWAN, where he began to grow an interest in Networks & IT Security.

Niall studied B. Sc. (Hons.) Systems, Networks & Digital Forensics at IT Sligo where he was awarded B. Sc. (1st Class Hons.). Once completed, Niall concentrated on Cisco and Microsoft exams and now holds various Cisco and Microsoft certificates. To gain a better understanding of day-to-day business, Niall returned to NUI Galway and studied H. Dip Business Studies where he was awarded a H. Dip (1st Class Hons.). Niall is currently in the process of studying for his Masters in Digital Forensics at UCD.
